• First day of school, long boring lecture, bla bla yada yada yada.
• Okayu Sadoru, first to arrive, followed shortly by Murakami Hiro. Made small talk about FLCL.
• Icchan arrives.
• Hissori Hibiki arrives, but standing outside, being a loner.
• Worried, Hiro peeks outside, attempts to speak to Hibiki. Akuri-sensei arrives in an intimidating manner, sending Hiro back to his seat. All three in class decided they didn't like him. Sucks to be him.
• Hasumi arrives in a lost state, but eventually finds the classroom. Hibiki soon decides to enter the class too.
• Sadoru decides to be annoying with his biro. Somewhere in between, the class is more or less filled. Hibiki raises his hand, but is ignored as Akuri-sensei introduces himself. Sadoru starts the ball rolling with his introduction, followed by Icchan.
• Takako Aoi finally arrives, late- and without her bag. And with a shadow in the tow. Damn.
• Danji Suteki voices out to Aoi, who doesn't know anything anyway. Hibiki, who also sees it, mockingly waves it off as "a ghost or something."
• Miyazaki-sensei, head of 1st year, calls Akuri-sensei out, who leaves after warning them about leaving the room.
• Meanwhile, Fubi Karinushi who was outside moping on a hill, decides to come to school after all. She arrived soon after Akuri-sensei left.
• Aoi talks to Sadoru, but just for a pen. They talk about her bag, and Aoi finally realized that it was outside because she had put it down to grab a snack, and it was by the entrance (now how does that happen?).
• Akuri-sensei comes back to announce change in timetable- with extra physical. Takasumi Tokaji came then, and made a mess of himself. Break is announced, and teacher leaves.
• Icchan decides to play hero, and after dropping a tissue pack for Tokaji, offers to Aoi to grab her bag for her. Aoi decides to play sweet, Icchan decides to be smart. Shadow follows him out. Only Hibiki noticed.
• And Fubi decides to be schizo.
• Icchan tries the gate, fails, tries the wall, pass. Shadow decides to be friendly and hands the bag to him, and disappears back into the school.
• Meanwhile, thanks to Sadoru (who dropped some VIP(Very Important Paper) containing his soul which Aoi picked up), Aoi heads to the washroom to fix her hair.
• Fubi decides that the bookcase was interesting, and Sadoru strikes up a conversation with Hibiki and Yuichi. But Yuichi gets uncomfortable, and when Fubi decides to get noticed by dumping stuff into the rubbish bin, Yuichi grabbed the opportunity. Yay for both of them.
• Icchan returns with a pale face. Hibiki and Sadoru gathers round, and he explained what happened. Sadoru plays it down, but gets water for him anyway. Icchan returns to his seat, preferring solitude.
• Meanwhile, Hiro's pen plays a disappearing act.
• Akuri-sensei returns, as do Sadoru. Whole class gets punished for disobeying orders. Hibiki decides to remain in Sadoru's seat, so Sadoru took his.
• Akuri-sensei made clear who's boss.
• Thus ends the first day of school.

Day Two (Friday), THE SHADOW THAT WALKED ALONE

• 2nd day of school, news of the shadow's return spreads like wildfire.
• Fubi plays hookie.
• Shadow tags along Aoi, making her upset(aww...). Gets called out to headmaster's office, returns with school nurse, who has a whispered conversation with Akuri-sensei.
• Lunch.
• Sadoru has an idea to help Aoi, and starts writing.
• Icchan walks over, lolz at Sadoru, and gets concerned over Aoi. The three have lunch. Aoi's provided by two knights in not-so-shining armour.
• Meanwhile, Hibiki goes weepy and headed to the washroom. A floating handkerchief, courtesy of a shadow, made him confused instead as he walks back to class.
• In other news, Hiro walks up and startles Fubi, who had been writing something. Talks about musical instrument. Fubi later heads to the toilet as "Kuro the Schizo" starts to irritate her. Yuichi waves hi.
• Fubi starts throwing up. And cries. And argues with herself.
• Yuichi shrugs off lack of response from Fubi, and decides to head to the library. Finds weird book in restricted section. Finds out that he needs a certain sadist's written permission to see it, but agrees to let librarian to ask for permission anyway.
• Tokaji faints for no reason. Gets sent to the infirmary for that reason. Comes back soon after for unknown reason.
• Sadoru sends Aoi on a peacekeeping mission to Fubi-world, who gets told(nicely) to leave Fubi alone. Aoi decides to wait outside. After hearing a short screamfest, Aoi checks with Fubi again. They walk back to class together later.
• Sadoru learns that Icchan doesn't think the shadow is a serious enough matter to warrant close attention.
• Meanwhile, Akuri-sensei receives a gift of two more female students; Kawaridane Kaigai and Kurosawa Megumi. They come in afer lunch.
• Free study. Sadoru strikes again (at Aoi).
• Tanaka starts talking about art with Yuichi, who invites her to the library next school day.
• Akuri-sensei takes over as art teacher, and hands out textbooks. Arrival of Sho The Late.
• Rakuin gives her textbook to Sho.
• Sadoru ignored when he asks for art supplies, and decides to get them himself. He also took a green plastic tree and gave it to Fubi.
• Aoi's artistic talents form in the shape of a round blob of mess.
• School ends, time to sign up for clubs. Everyone gets friendly with each other. Megumi runs laps on the track alone.
• Icchan finds a page in the artbook with strange info of a woodblock painting of a boy, a woman and an extra shadow.
• Fubi gets a claustrophobic in the crowd, and leaves for some space. Sadoru plays hero. Sho plays tag-along, but leaves soon after. Fubi lights up a cigarette, but is stubbed out by Sadoru, and walks off. Sadoru accompanies her all the way home.
• Meanwhile, Icchan suggests heading to the art club, showing the strange page to a couple of those with him.
• Group reaches art club room and meets hot art teacher, Kazami-sensei. She talks about the mural on the wall. Icchan shows her the page while the rest scrutinizes the mural.
• Group finds shadow paintings on mural, Icchan learns of it via Kazami-sensei, but learns of nothing else, except of the mystery of how the shadows appear in the mural, despite being so high up and the ladders locked up.
• Mai speaks up to Aoi, who was asking around for Sadoru. Overhears Icchan, thinks him insensitive, walks off crying with Mai running after her. Icchan decides it wasn't his fault.
• Aoi opens up to Mai, and lets off that she hasn't been healthy lately.
• Icchan leaves, and Sho goes after him.
• Thus ends the second day of school.
